My first 0
That is right my friends tonight I had the first chance to look at the scale and see no change. As hard as it was I thought to myself "well at least it wasn't a gain." Currently we have alot going on around here and to be honest I am thankful I was able to maintain. I am getting stricter again and we will see how this week goes. Here is to a different day with different possibilities!

I think your attitude is in the right spot Melissa and don't lose hope. I don't think the numbers are ever going to look exactly how we want them to. Just keep your mind focused and even when your mind is telling you to give up; remember what's in your heart and why you are doing what you're doing. If you don't think you are going to make it to the gym that day, incorporate a workout into something in your home: if you have stairs, utilize them; if you are watching a television show, watch it while doing lunges. I don't get any gym time so those are things I have to incorporate into my life to get some sort of work out in.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I think your doing great and I'm glad I came across your blog through FB. I, too, was keeping track by using myfitnesspal.com but I found another website that has given me more inspiration and motivation and that is
ReplyDeletewww.sparkspeople.com
When you have a chance take a look. It took me about a week to get familiar of the basics and stroll through some of their videos...but it was worth it. I've been tracking my workouts/nutrition and goals for a week with this site and found it very motivational and if you want to get with others on any topic...you will find a great support system.
Other than that...your right to stay positive by saying atleast you didn't gain!!! Be proud of your accomplishments and I like that you also mentioned before that this a life change...a healthy life change :) Your blog is an inspiration!!! Thank you for sharing :)
